Ramona teaches 3 all-levels workshops which focus on: developing your own personal 'style'; preserving historic moves and choreography; understanding (and enjoying!) music and the concepts of rhythm and timing.

Harlem is Swing Dance Sydney's regular party night, and in 2016 it moves to a new venue, and adds another night to its month. Take a lindy hop class with Ramona, then get serious on the dance floor with live music from The Splendid Six.
The first Small Ball at the Little Big Weekend warmed the cockles of jazznicks' hearts, with the band describing the vibe as "Feeling like family", out-of-town dancers exclaiming "Real food at a lindy event! It's so different!" and a band the notoriously selective Lennart Westerlund described as 'good'.
We recreate that night with Andrew Dickeson's Swingtet, the lovely (yet tiny) Annandale Town Hall, and plenty of social dancing.

Ramona is one of the highest profile lindy hoppers and jazz dancers in the world, performing and teaching at all the major international events, including Herräng (Sweden), Swing Out New Hampshire (USA), SeaJam (Singapore), Authentic Jazz Weekend (Korea)....
She's placed in heaps of the biggest dance competitions in the world (ILHC, ILHC, ILHC), she's danced in big name troupes, (Silver Shadows anyone?), she taught with Frankie Manning, she taps, she solos, she lindy hops, she sings, she slow drags...
...and she likes Sydney because we have good bands and restaurants. She's also one of the friendliest, nicest people in lindy hop, and she just loves social dancing. More than anything. Make sure you ask her to dance.
